The Executive Director of the Lake Chad Research Institute, Maiduguri, paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/CEO of the Chad Basin Development Authority (CBDA), Alh. Tijjani Musa Tumsah.

Purpose of the Visit

The purpose of the visit was to:

1. Offer Congratulations: Congratulate Alh. Tijjani Musa Tumsah and his team on their appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
2. Foster Collaboration: Potentially explore areas of cooperation between the Lake Chad Research Institute and CBDA, given their shared interests in the Lake Chad region.

Significance

The visit strengthens the relationship between the two institutions and may lead to future collaborations in research, capacity building, and development initiatives.
